Question: What would you say to a closeted hr person who picked health insurance that dosn't cover domestic partners?

What would you do if a closeted gay HR manager intentionally selected a health insurance policy for all the employees of a company that won't cover same sex partners. Furthermore, if you believed he was doing it to quell rumors that he was gay what would you do? I should have stated that the HR manager in question works for me. The policy he selected covers spouses, but not domestic partners even though I have made it a point to run a gay friendly business. As a gay man I'm not sure how to respond to the situation.

You can't act on an allegation that he's closeted even if you're sure of it. It's not your responsibility to save him. And covering domestic partners is not so big in insurance that you would immediately take it as a sign of denial.

Honey...its cheaper..its not a issue involving domestic partners.....when your in business...gotta curb that spending. i dont blame him!....and you all should be concentrating on work instead of speculating on his sexuality.
