Part of thsi health care reform is supposed to be manadatory health insurance--liek tehre is mandatory car insurance--supposedly there are supposed to be subsidies for low income-- but if you arre on SSI--you shoudl get medicaid if you are onSSDI--you shold get Medicare after 2 years--and i hear they are trying to get rid of teh waiting period

When the National Debt is approaching 12 Zillion dollars all thanks to Bush and increasing by 3.9 Billion per day . I would NOT rule it out the Health Insurance debate Americas Economy is being supported by Foreign Money . Some of which there unable to Repay "ie " Welch on the Loans So i would guess America will have Hard Times Ahead . But this is just my Thoughts ?

No, it is not true. What is true is that insurers will have to accept people with pre-existing conditions - so people with disabilities who could not find anyone to insure them will now be able to find insurance. What is true is all employers will have to offer insurance to all employees. So Walmart will no longer get away with hiring people for 36 hours a week so that they don't have to pay the health insurance of their greeters with disabilities. And people like me who work part-time will get a part-time health insurance benefit. What is true is that there will be substantial support for people who cannot afford health insurance including those with disabilities.

Obama is going about it totally wrong. If he truly cared about the people he would make the "Pre-Existing Clause " that many insurance companies have placed on PWD's illegal instead but he won't. It is much easier to force the little man onto the same plan and fine everyone who refuses to go on this plan instead of forcing these companies to change their way of thinking toward PWD's and cover everyone equally. This not only proves that the U.S. Constitution is a load of horsesh*t but it also proves that this country is moving from a capitalist country and moving towards a communist country. So much for Obama being "America's Savior ".

Anyone who gets a federal check from the SSA gets free medical services already. It's about the worst service I've ever seen, but it IS available. It does not allow for any type of "alternative medicine " like acupuncture....it is based in medical research & financed in part by the pharmaceutical companies who give free drugs to the clinics & teaching hospitals. It's responsible for turning a mildly disabled person into a zombie who ends us being rendered permanently disabled after drug therapy. They seem to feel that anyone who has trouble sleeping should be treated with psyche meds. Personally, I think it's all part of the "evil plot " to force Americans into a corral of having little or no choice in where they spend their money. Eliminate freedom of choice & the government & corporate entities will have a ready supply of cash at their disposal on the revolving door circuit! The $ will come from the govt or employer, be given to the people, and the people will be forced into spending it only to re-supply the government with what they are giving out to the people on their "company payroll " ie "the federal reserve ". Cute trick. That's why we have so many Walmarts popping up everywhere. They know how to keep us monkeys coming back, in my opinion.

I hope so. When I tried to sign with private insurance companies, they rejected me because I am a person with disabilities. It was my fault for having been born (I was born with my conditions). But they are allowed to proactively send my house mailers saying 'sign up'. It's so very deceptive. I want to be able to purchase the same product which is being advertised in my own mailbox. If the companies are allowed to put it in my mailbox, they ought to be required to take my money.
